Muzzle Control Drills Using the Dynamic Range X1 with Sim Rounds

Ever seen a muzzle control drill?

In this video from one of our customers, they're demonstrating a muzzle control drill using the Dynamic Range X1 as a moving target. Participants are firing sim rounds—non-lethal training rounds that require everyone to wear protective gear. The drill takes place in a crowded environment where the objective is to train the shooter in proper muzzle control.

As the target moves, participants must avoid pointing their rifles at bystanders while safely engaging the target. This drill simulates real-world scenarios like public events or crowded spaces, emphasizing the importance of situational awareness and weapon safety. Training like this helps shooters develop discipline in high-stress environments, ensuring the safety of everyone around them, not just the target.

The exercise highlights the critical skill of maintaining muzzle discipline and safely navigating crowded spaces, preparing for real-world scenarios where protecting civilians is just as important as neutralizing the threat.
