Chris D. Horton Legacy Sniper Competition 2024
Every year, Rev Tac (along with Contact Front) hosts the Chris D. Horton Legacy Sniper Competition in honor of our fallen brother Chris D. Horton.
This year, we were graciously invited to join the event and watch our moving targets in action, during the competition.
October 26th at Verzani Farms: A Day of Action with Rev-Tac
Today at Verzani Farms (59326 878 Rd, Ponca, NE), teams are ready for an action-packed day, starting bright and early with an 8 am kickoff. After parking and checking in at the main HQ, visitors can catch a ride on shuttles—Humvees, vans, or side-by-sides—to any stage they want to watch.
Competitors will tackle a challenging 12-mile route, stopping at various stages throughout the day. Highlights include High Angle, Stalk Lane, and Target Detection in the morning, with Sky Bridge, Vehicle-Based Operations, and Call Your Shot in the afternoon.
By 5-6 pm, the stages wind down, followed by dinner, live music, and a big bonfire. Be sure to visit the vendors to check out products that could enhance your skills!
